1. Does CardWise AI ever see my credit card numbers or bank login?

Never. CardWise AI only needs to know which card products you hold (for example, “Chase Freedom Flex” or “Capital One Venture X”). We never ask for card numbers, CVVs, expiration dates, or Plaid/bank logins.

2. How do I add or edit cards in my wallet?

Click the CardWise AI icon in your browser toolbar and select Manage Wallet & Settings (or right-click the extension icon and choose Options). Choose an Issuer and Card Template from the dropdowns and click Add Card, or click Custom Card to create your own card rules from scratch.

3. Why didn’t the floating checkout badge appear on a page?

To avoid cluttering normal browsing, the floating CardWise bubble only appears when a checkout or payment context is detected. You can still view recommendations on any website at any time simply by clicking the CardWise AI icon in your browser toolbar.

4. How do I reset or delete all of my CardWise data?

All wallet cards, preferences, and logged transactions are stored locally in your browser:

• To clear your logged transaction history, open Options → Analytics & Missed Rewards and click Clear History.
• To reset your preferences and point valuations, open Options → Preferences Engine and click Reset Defaults.
• Uninstalling the CardWise AI extension from your browser automatically purges all local extension storage.
